Neck Pains

There were instances in the past when I would wake up feeling really awful and experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders. I simply thought that I was just too tired from the night before because I would usually be in the office for long periods of time. I never really thought that there was probably something wrong with my sleeping position.

That is, until I went to see the doctor about my complaints. He told me that one of the reasons why people usually suffer from these pains when they have only been sleeping because they have been using the wrong pillow. I may have been using something that is too high which causes strain on my neck and shoulders. He told me to try an ergonomic pillow and check whether this would change the problem. I was surprised when my pillow was indeed the cause of it all and vowed never to use any of my old ones again.

Since I usually work long hours at home in front of my computer, there are instances when I would be left complaining about the aches and pains I feel. This is particularly bothersome in my back, since I would be writing for hours on end. I would even have to go and get massages regularly just so I can somehow relieve the pain that I feel every time I work.

My friend had recommended that I use a HiBak rest instead of the typical pillow I also use for the living room. I was a bit hesitant at first that this would help me with my problem, but I was really surprised when it worked perfectly. Now I can concentrate on the job and not have to worry about any more pains whenever I need to work for hours.

After my sister had just broken up with her boyfriend and knocked on my door, I knew that she had no one else to turn to but me. Having been orphaned young, both of us have managed to survive all these years with the support we provide each other. I know that this is a difficult time for her and so I told her that she can move with me until she finds her own place.

I immediately fixed the spare room I have and filled it with comforter goose pillows and all other things she may need. Living in with her boyfriend, she finally realized that it was never going to work and that she had no other choice but to walk out on him. I am proud of her for being brave enough to do so, and I hope that she can recover from it as fast as possible.

Warm Milk and Cookies

Before I even go to sleep, I would have to get myself some warm milk and cookies. This has always been a favorite treat of mine ever since I was a kid, and I have never stopped loving such even to this day. I would usually spend a few minutes writing on my journal while I munch on my late night treat. So what if I gain a few extra pounds because of this?

During the winter season, habit is much more enjoyable especially since the drink helps me warm up before I lay in bed. I have comforter goose down pillows all around my bed which I use as a makeshift table for my cookies and journal so I can write better. This is an age old tradition of mine which I never pass up on. Hopefully in a few year’s time I would be able to share the same with my children. Everyone deserves to live a little.

We all need sleep. This is something that should never be undermined since our bodies are like machines that need to shut down and rest. This is important for us to re-energize and to have enough strength to go about our day to day lives. If we do not get enough sleep, then chances are we will be too moody and grouchy. This is definitely something that would probably scare off those who we will be coming our way!

Being an alumna of the Texas A&M University, I am proud to say that I love my school. Without the scholarship they gave me, I wouldn’t be able to find my work right now and earn enough money to consider myself a successful person. I am not bragging, I just want to say the truth. The university has really helped me in a lot of ways that I cannot describe in words.

Recently, my friend came home from a recent visit to the university and he gave me a surprise gift. He gave me one of those comfy Aggie pillows and I was more than happy to receive it. They are made from the softest materials and I really loved how it felt when my head lies on it. It has now become one of my favorite pillows of all time, and added to that, it came from my beloved university.
