Our teenage son has been asking us to get him a water bed as far as I can remember. I was a bit hesitant to use these things because one is well aware of how rowdy kids tend to be. It may only be a matter of days and these things will already be popping all over and leaking water. I simply cannot allow my son to get one because of these reasons.

He had some really impressive and excellent grades though, something that he used to bribe me and his father to get him the water bed. We had no choice but to give in to his request, and even added in some few water bed sheets to help his sleep get more comfortable. I just sure hope that the bed lasts him a long time. Otherwise, he has no choice but to sleep on the floor.

Dirty Bed

Most of the time, my friends would come over the house and tend to sleep over since they are too lazy to go home to their apartments. Since I have no spare room for them to sleep, they have no choice but to stay with me on my bed. These times though are so much fun, since I happen to live alone and I want to take advantage of having a companion at home.

After their visits though, I make it a point to change all the sheets and the cotton pillow cases afterwards, since I know that we have eaten food all over the bed and have done all sorts of things like putting on nail polish. This way I can go back to my bed assured that the entire thing is clean and tidy enough to rest my body in.

Feeling Nervous

My boyfriend had just recently informed me that his parents were going to stay with us for a few days to come and visit. This is also the first time they will be coming over to the city to meet with their son. Most of the time, my boyfriend would be the one to come home along with me. Living together for two years now, we have been sharing this apartment for a long time and have plenty of people staying here except our own parents.

This is why I am a bit anxious over the whole thing, because I would want to have things go perfectly. I made the preparations early on and got some new duvet cover sets for the spare room we have in the apartment. I also purchased new towels, pillows and other toiletries they may need during their stay. Hopefully everything will come along smoothly and I would not have to worry about failing to impress his parents.

Since I usually work long hours in front of the computer, typing away and reading the entire day, I would usually complain about aching arms, neck, and shoulders. When I get home from work I would usually lie down for a while because of the excruciating pain. My doctor said that there was no other way to get ird of it but to actually rest.

I was also advised by my doctor to look for pillow options which would allow me to improve on my sleep and will help me rest these parts I complain about. I got myself some alternative down pillows since these things conform properly against your body. This way, I would not have to worry about waking up the following morning feeling as if I did not rest at all.

The Perfect Room

My girlfriend and I have been going out for quite a few years already. I have to admit that she is the one person I want to get married to and no one else. I am however, stopped by the fact that my girlfriend would still need to finish med school before we settled down. This way, she would not have any worries regarding the pressures of both her studies and her married life with me.

I did, however, asked her to move in with me as a way to get things to a different level in our relationship. She told me that she needed to think about it, especially since she would have times when she needs to do nothing but study and not be disturbed. I got some mystic valley sheets, pillowcases and dust ruffles for the bed just so I can entice her to make the leap. The plan worked, and I would have her in the apartment in a few days.

Neck Pains

There were instances in the past when I would wake up feeling really awful and experiencing a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders. I simply thought that I was just too tired from the night before because I would usually be in the office for long periods of time. I never really thought that there was probably something wrong with my sleeping position.

That is, until I went to see the doctor about my complaints. He told me that one of the reasons why people usually suffer from these pains when they have only been sleeping because they have been using the wrong pillow. I may have been using something that is too high which causes strain on my neck and shoulders. He told me to try an ergonomic pillow and check whether this would change the problem. I was surprised when my pillow was indeed the cause of it all and vowed never to use any of my old ones again.

My little girl is finally moving out of our room after we convinced her that she should already be sleeping on her own. We wanted her to get used to the idea so we can finally have our privacy as a couple back. This way, she can also learn how to be independent and to fend for herself, knowing that it is not always that we can be there for her.

One of the things which convinced her to move to her own room is the way her room has been transformed by my wife. She got my daughter a great new bed with a princess bedding, and stripped off the old wallpaper to replace the same with some princess themed designs. This was the only part of the deal which enticed my daughter to enjoy her new space all to herself.

Sleeping Over

My friend would usually sleep over my house on weekends so we can spend time together. Ever since she moved in to the city where I also work, I got really excited that we can now spend more time together and catch up on one another after being apart for a few years. Both of us are still single, so we would usually be together going out and having fun before we go home.

I actually have two beds in my room because I did not want to dispose of my old bed which had tons of memories in it. This is the perfect setup anyway since this can be used by my friend whenever she stays for the night. I have tons of duvet cover sets to make sure that we can have a great night of sleep, especially after partying the entire night.

Securing the Baby

To be on the safe side, I always make sure that I monitor my baby while she sleeps. Although we have a nursery for her, I decided to move the crib in our bedroom so that I can check on her every once in a while. She may need my help and I may be too far away to hear her crying in the middle of the night. This is a concern of any typical mother such as myself.

To make sure that she stays warm and comfortable, I have a plush baby blanket covering my baby at all times whenever she is asleep. This is my way of making sure that the despite the cold temperature in the room or outside she will remain warm at all times. She would be prone to sickness and disease if the weather can get too cold on her.

Since I usually work long hours at home in front of my computer, there are instances when I would be left complaining about the aches and pains I feel. This is particularly bothersome in my back, since I would be writing for hours on end. I would even have to go and get massages regularly just so I can somehow relieve the pain that I feel every time I work.

My friend had recommended that I use a HiBak rest instead of the typical pillow I also use for the living room. I was a bit hesitant at first that this would help me with my problem, but I was really surprised when it worked perfectly. Now I can concentrate on the job and not have to worry about any more pains whenever I need to work for hours.
