The Most Widely Used Pillow Stuffing

You will find different kinds of pillow stuffing in stores today. There is cotton pillow stuffing that is made of natural cotton. This material offers breathability and resistance to bugs. Those made of organic cotton are healthier options because of the absence of chemical irritants. Other natural options are down feather pillow stuffing and less common plant products such as buckwheat.

Polyester pillow stuffing, also called poly stuffing is made of synthetic material that is made from plastic. It is fibered, fluffed, flocked or clustered for use as pillow stuffing. Most of the pillows sold in stores are filled with poly stuffing. We can say that that is good considering that it is a form of recycling. However, it is still plastic, and we can do better than that.
